The makers of the Secret City Film Festival have "cooked up" a special one-day film festival for southern filmmakers! (2010 will be our second year!) The 2nd Annual Grits-n-Gravy Southern Film Festival will be held Sunday, April 11, 2010, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This one-day festival is designed to showcase short films by southern filmmakers. Filmmakers from the following states are encouraged to submit: Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida and Texas.
Categories include: narrative, documentary, and student films. Awards will be presented at the end of the festival including an audience favorite award.
ADMISSION is only $10 and tickets will be available at the door.
Also, a special filmmaking competition is being held this year for East Tennessee filmmakers.
The festival will be held at the 344-seat, historic Oak Ridge Playhouse in beautiful Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
